jesus healed me while i drew his face!

  • Jesus smiles with compassion! The fun thing about this image of Jesus that I drew is that I actually was personally HEALED while I drew this! It was actually originally a commission for a church event. I had a deadline to finish it by a certain day I ended up severely burning my drawing hand in the middle of drawing it.

I had a cast iron pan that was in a 400 degree for about 40 minutes and my brain just totally forgot that I can't just grab the handle with my bare hand. I fully gripped and started to lift up the pan and then realized oh my gosh! I just burned the entire palm of my hand including my fingers!

I started immediately screaming at the top of my lungs in pain! I screamed for such a long time because the pain was so intense. Eventually I got it all wrapped up with some cream and gauze and put a plastic glove overtop to keep everything secure. However I knew I needed to finish this drawing soon.

My husband and daughters all prayed for my hand to be healed. It didn't feel better yet but I wanted to try and draw even through the pain. So I grabbed my pencil and started to sing the song "Show Me Your Face" by Stephany Gretzinger and in the midst of the throbbing horrible pain I began to draw as best as I could.

About a minute into singing and drawing, immediately ALL of the pain completely left my hand! I quickly looked over at one of my daughters who was standing next to me and asked if she was just praying for me. She said, not just now and asked why. I said my hand doesn't hurt at all! All the pain is gone! Like completely gone!

I decided to leave the glove on my hand until the morning but I knew that it was completely healed because it went from excruciating pain to zero pain in an instant! The next day I took the glove off my hand, washed my hand and looked down to see ZERO SCARS! No blisters nothing even remotely showing that I had even been burned. I had one tiny tiny red mark in the corner of my thumb but even that didn't hurt at all.

I felt like it was my little mark to remember what God had done. God is so good! So now my prayer is that as God healed me with this picture of Jesus, He will heal you or your loved one as well! God is still the God of miracles and He works in mysterious ways!

Just look at Acts 19: 11-12 "And God was doing extraordinary miracles by the hands of Paul, so that even handkerchiefs or aprons that had touched his skin were carried away to the sick, and their diseases left them and the evil spirits came out of them." This is my prayer for these prints of Jesus Smiling!

About
The Artist

Welcome! I’m Kirstin Krulikowski, the artist behind Kirstin K. Art, based in beautiful Franklin, TN. From the moment I could pick up a crayon, creating art has been a central part of my life. Today, I’m blessed to share my passion for Christian art—inspired by God, His creation, and His Word—through my original works, custom pieces, and fine art prints.

My goal as an artist is simple but profound: to draw closer to Jesus Christ through my work and to inspire others to do the same. Every piece I create reflects my faith, whether it’s through depictions of God’s creation, Scripture-inspired designs, or works that celebrate His glory. My art is more than a creative outlet; it’s a way to connect with Him and help others deepen their faith.

As a mother of five, my art is intricately woven into the rhythms of family life, including homeschooling my older children. My journey as both an artist and a mom has been a source of inspiration and joy, as I get to teach my kids about art and creativity while pursuing my own passion.

Whether you’re looking for fine art prints, original works, or custom pieces, I hope my art brings a sense of peace, beauty, and faith into your life. Thank you for stopping by—it’s an honor to share my work with you!

Testimonials

Yolanda L.

“There are no words that fully capture what Kirstin’s painting I Will Be Made Well has meant to me—but I will try.”

“I asked Kirstin to paint an image of the woman with the issue of blood reaching for the hem of Jesus’ garment. This story has always held a sacred place in my heart, but when Kirstin showed me the painting God had given her— I Will Be Made Well—I was undone. It was as though heaven had touched canvas.

I placed -I Will Be Made Well in my prayer closet, a space that is deeply personal and precious to me. It’s where I go to be alone with Jesus, to pour out my heart, to quiet the noise, and to find healing in His presence. This painting draws me in every single time. On days when I’m overwhelmed, when life feels like too much, I look at this image of that desperate, faith-filled reach—and I remember that just one touch of His hem is enough. Enough to sustain me, enough to heal me, enough to make me whole.

Kirstin is not just an artist—she is anointed. The Spirit of God flows through her hands onto every canvas, and I Will Be Made Well is living proof. It is not just a painting—it is an invitation to encounter Jesus.

I loved it so deeply that I purchased another for my office. As a health and wellness coach, I meet many women who are searching for healing, wholeness, and hope. When they see this painting, they ask about it. And it opens the door for me to share the story behind the woman in Scripture, and how Jesus still meets us right where we are, still makes us well.

I Will Be Made Well has not only touched me—it has transformed me. And I believe it will do the same for anyone who brings it into their home, office, or sacred space. I hope and pray that many will be moved to purchase this piece and experience the powerful presence of God through Kirstin’s art.

Let this painting remind you daily to reach for Him—because everything you need is found in His presence.

With all my heart,

Yolanda”
